ABOUT BAKERS IN THE BURBS

Marlon’s the head of the Baker family. After buying a pickleball franchise, he and his wife Tasha move the family from the city to the burbs—thinking it’ll mean better schools, fewer problems, and less chaos. Instead, they find out crazy lives everywhere… and the problems? Just different, sometimes even stranger and loaded with Marlon calls "them weird white people".  

At its core, the show is about the universal struggles of raising kids, staying sane, and holding onto your values in a world that seems to have lost them.  Packed with sarcasm, real-life satire, and plenty of heart, Bakers In The Burbs reminds us that whether you live in the city or the burbs, family life is messy, funny, and has many lessons to be learned.  You’ll laugh, you’ll relate—and you’ll definitely see a bit of your own family in the Bakers… and their neighbors.
