Favorite Music/Bands:
I'm a pure disco freak - the "hardcore stuff", none of that "white wedding disco stuff" I'm into the hardcore disco played at The  Hippodrome, Cinderella Rockefella or Studio 54 in the heat of the night. Artists that were exclusive to the clubs like Mantus, Gibson Brothers, Madleen Kane, Ultimate, Claudja Barry, Rory Block, Linda Clifford, Wonderland Disco Band Etc, Ultimate, I really dig anything By Cerrone, Giorgio and Alec R. Costandinos. They were true studio pioneers back in da day.

I'm also a big Old School Freak:
Anything on Philly Intl. like The O'Jays, Lou Rawls, Archie Bell & The Drells, The Intruders etc. I'm a big fan of The Ohio Players, Earth Wind & Fire, Third World, Isley Brothers, Slave, Chaka Khan, Marvin Gaye, Teddy Pendergrass, Sly And The Family Stone, Betty Wright, The Commodores, The Meters, Bar Kays, Con Funk Shun, Barry White, Main Ingredient, Alexander O'Neal, Tower Of Power, Frankie Beverly & Maze, Rene & Angela, Prince [up to 1992] The Spinners, War, Otis Redding, James Brown and more. Basically any band with a great horn/rhythm section like Blood, Sweat & Tears will make me a happy white man. 

I'm into Stevie Ray Vaughn, Kenny Wayne Sheppard, Albert Collins, Koko Taylor, Gloria Hardiman, Johnny Taylor, Etta James, My mom, Josie Falbo who I'd put up anyday against Aretha, Mariah or Billie. No one's a better person or better singer than my Mom and I don't say that just because she's my Mom!

I dig Me First And The Gimme Gimme's, Love Jones, Tesla, Warrant, Ratt, Poison, Dokken, Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, AC/DC, Kiss, Aerosmith and many other hair bands from the 80s and early 90s. I dig Zeppelin and Hendrix as well as Santana, Grateful Dead and other classic rockers too. I don't mind some of the "Prog Rock" from Phil Collins/Genesis, Gabriel, Bowie, Roxy Music/Brian Eno, Squeeze, XTC and others but only select tracks. Most of that stuff wasn't part of my scene back then but I didn't mind it and understood why people were diggin' it. 

I'm a big fan of ALL the 70s, 80s and 90s pop stuff [good and bad], the early hip hop [Blowfly, Kurtis Blow, Whodini, The Treacherous Three, Dana Dane, Doug E Fresh, Too Short, Kool Moe Dee] and all the club stuff [disco, commercial club hits, house, hip house, and techno from the late 80s early 90s]

As for today's sounds, I'm into all of them but could live without them if I had to. Trip-Hop and Trance put me to sleep and angry white guys playing one chord at 120 decibels while screaming into a microphone is enough to make me want to rip off my arm and beat the shit out of myself. Hip Hop used to be cool now it's too predictable and it appears that you need to study thuganese® or have at least one felony to be a star. Most of today's club stuff is very easy to forget. I dig alot of the chill and down to midtempo chill/electronica stuff too. Tricky, Massive Attack and others have been making great stuff since the early-mid 90s. Others like Jem, Goldfrapp and more use electronics and harmonies to create very interesting pieces.
